I've got some friends that you should meet

Kannan Piaget and Sister Anna met when Kannan (who does not live here) was invited into the Papal Apartment at night with a torn uniform, and Anna (who does live here) woke up and thought she'd left the light on. They were introduced to one another, and Anna repaired Kannan's uniform. (According to Pope Innocent XIV, they met because God was listening when Kannan said that she wanted to pursue getting to know some of the Vatican's nuns.)

They regard one another as friends, and maybe sisters. Anna thinks of Kannan as a good person, and Kannan opens up to her in a way she does with few people. They correspond quite often via text message, usually informing and encouraging one another. Kannan has an expectation that Anna will keep him informed about relevant matters, and often attempts to reassure her about concerning situations.

They are both French speakers, though Kannan has been known to make gentle fun of Anna's dialect and the fact that numbers do not make sense in it.
