supercook: Put in what ingredients you have, and it'll give you a list of online recipes that can be made with only those. Tragically, it does involve links to recipe websites, which are mostly terrible.
Thing and Stuff Wiki: "An organically evolving personal wiki knowledge base" with an "on-the-fly taxonomy". I haven't explored it a great deal yet, but it seems very interesting.

cobalt tools: A tool to download media from the internet (eg, YT videos) with 0 trackers.
Directory of Open Access Journals: What it says on the tin. It's been active for over 20 years, and has a sleek but not obnoxious interface.
Eclectic Library: A directory of some scanned book page images.
i have no tv: A collection of free-to-view documentaries on the web, without the far-right conspiracy theory nonsense that such collections are often heavily weighted towards.
library genesis: An ebook downloader with a reasonably extensive catalogue of STEM textbooks, and many other mass-market books, as well.
Marginalia Search: A simple search engine that tries to turn up non-commercial results. You won't get results you could find easily with Google - but you'll also gets results you couldn't find easily with Google. If you like DuckDuckGo, you may just love Marginalia as a secondary search engine.
openverse: Creative Commons and public domain image and audio searching.
The Anarchist Library: A frequently-updated collection of anarchist texts in over 20 languages.

fantasynamegenerators: A wonderful website managed and developed by one person. It has generic name generators, and in-depth ones, like for specific species from Star Trek and Star Wars.
Tip of my Tongue: This is a tool developed to help people find the specific word they're looking for. It doesn't always work, but it's useful to be able to try.
Star Wars Fic Reference Wiki: [FULL DISCLOSURE: I am a part of this project.] Unfortunately hosted on Fandom at present, this is a project to compile Star Wars information in a more writer-friendly, and less hostile, way than Wookieepedia does.
